"Tum Paas Aa Rahe Ho" (Revisited) (VEER-ZAARA 2004)
9 June 2012

The song Tum Paas Aa Rahe Ho, an original Madan Mohan composition, featured only on the CD of VEER-ZAARA, but not in the film. Its music track and presentation was a soulful, romantic but slow track, as had been conceived by Madan Mohanji. The lyrics by Javed Akhtar also needed to be embellished with melodious arrangements. The duet was sung by Lataji and Jagjit Singhji.

After the release of VEER-ZAARA and the popularity of its music, Yash Raj Music decided to redo the track of this song for a special Love Songs CD titled Tum Paas Aa Rahe Ho. The ‘revisited’ song was given a more upbeat tempo and rhythm and a more modern presentation. It became Tum Paas Aa Rahe Ho... REVISITED.

This special music video of the 'revisited' version was made exclusively for the compilation album and was very popular on music channels. It features romantic shots from Veer-Zaara and various other YRF films, whose songs also featured on the compilation.
