VEER ZAARA... The music that's totally stirring, awe-inspiring, breathtaking, beyond one can grasp. The music that causes a shiver pass through your spine... goose bumps pop up on your skin... leaves your mouth dropped open and you totally hooked. Music that's beyond imagination is indeed unexplainable. Its poignant tunes leaves one stunned and hypnotized. Truly veer zaara's is the music that comes once in a lifetime. The vocals used are spell binding and really nourishment for the soul.
Since the release of veer zaara's music I've been a fanatic, I've been doing nothing but listening to its blissful and enchant melodies, even while I am asleep. Every time the vision of my eyes perceive glimpse of veer zaara's promo on the television, I get too much engrossed in it that the world around me just disappears and it bring tears to my eyes, for it presents the saga of love of an Indian guy and Paki girl. Maybe because this story line in a way is linked with my life, because I myself was deeply and madly in love with an Indian guy but had to drift apart because of the circumstances, so the vibes of agony, separation and sacrifice I get from listening to veer zaara's are the same I once felt at the time of separation. I wish I could frame my feelings into words and the impact this mind-boggling music leaves on me. I myself throughout my life believed love to be the greatest religion. Innocent, pure and unconditional love which considers no barriers at all, thus its immortal.
Veer zaara's soulful inimitable melodies will create a milestone in the history of Hindi cinema and I expect it from the film as well. The music of this legendary tale is so incredibly captivating that it's difficult to put into words. The way late Madan Mohan's music has been recreated leaves an everlasting impression. Hats off to Mr. Sanjeev Kohli and everyone else who put a lot of effort to make this possible. I would have simply given away my life for thousand times to experience the music like veer zaara's. All the songs are just superb and a way too mesmerizing specially "tere liye's" haunting effect has the power to hypnotize its spectators. Rests are also heavenly amazing specially the qawali, "ayaa tere dar pe" rocks. On the whole I rate the music 10 out of 10 for it comprises of the songs, which fascinates every generation and matches different moods one experiences in love. Moreover Lata jee created a magic that works wonders. She is simply wow. To top it all off the music has been done in a real classy Indian way, the culture I simply adore. Shahrukh and Preity are just amazing. I by all my heart and due respect salute Yash uncle for his genuine efforts in bridging the gap between the two nations and he is undoubtedly the perfectionist in his field.
Thanks for giving us this humanely and thought provoking masterpiece and showing to others what truly love is, because the way you have conveyed this, I bet no one else could have. You really win a tiara for this. Best of luck for this great venture, hope it turns out to be your biggest success.

I think the music of veer zaara is outstanding. This is the best work given by you. The songs are absolutely amazing. They have the earthy Indian feel which was missing in the music off late. Great work. I bought the on the very first day of the release and since then I'm listening to the CD of veer zaara. All the best in future.

I must say that I am HIGHLY obsessed with Yashji's Movies. He's one emotionalist who puts his soul in his products! I stay in Netherlands and I WISH that I could experience the beauty of the masterpiece "VEER-ZAARA" on cinema! But as of yet I didn't succeed to find whether VEER-ZAARA would be screened in Netherlands or not and if it is... then where? Could you please help an obsessive fan out? Please let me know, if possible, that where in Netherlands, Veer-Zaara would be screened! I shall be grateful for that! I've heard so many people talk about how "amazing" the music of Veer Zaara is. However, in my opinion just by listening to the music or watching the promos, the music sounds good, but nothing great.
But I also think that my opinion of the songs can change only after watching the film. If the songs fit perfectly into the situations and create a flow in the story, only then will I think the songs are "amazing". If they don't, then the whole purpose of the songs will be defeated. Therefore they will only stay "just good songs".
However, I am sure that Yash Chopra being such an accomplished director and by looking at his previous movies, he will have chosen the songs very wisely.

I am very excited to see the up coming movie of Yash Jee Production... Veer-Zaara... I heard the music of Veer-Zaara... its amazing... especially i found Udit Narayan in full swing during his voice in the film's songs... the music, lyrics & singers are Fantabulous & superb.
Yash Jee is really is my Favourite Director. He is so creative & knows how to keep viewers on theirs seats trill the last scenes of a movie. The combination with Shahrukh Khan will always click as Yash Jee said in one of his interviews that Shahrukh Khan has a Big Heart & he is very good in his work. I am very much sure Yash Jee that your movie movie will be the Biggest Hit of 2004 and will take all the awards in most categories.

When I listened to Veer Zaara Audio CD for the first time, I was absolutely amazed. I have not heard such pure & melodious music in recent times. I feel that such masterpiece should be made available on high-resolution audio formats such as DVD-Audio or SACD for the collectors. At present awareness for these formats is not much, especially in India. However, hybrid SACD or DVD-A flip-disk can be a solution. Secondly these albums can be launched on global level for economies of scale. Worldwide these formats are gaining popularity. I am sure that Indian music would also witness it one day.

The music of veer-zaara is really good and it touches your heart. One thing is for sure that the whole album is Fantastic. We are really looking for the film to be released, I don't now when it will be released in Bangalore but I will watch the movie on the day it will release in Bangalore. The way the songs are taken shape is really mind blowing and about the song that has been shot in our own India is really brilliant. A perfect combination of music, lyrics and melody is out of world experience for music lovers.

I really admired the music of Veer-Zaara. I am a total movie buff, major fan of yash raj films and srk and absolutely have to see all his movies on the first day! But unfortunately in Karnataka they r not releasing movies for 3 weeks. i hope you can do something about it. my mum told me that long back u guys fought to screen trishul and released it the day you won the court order... i just hope you can release this movie here and keep it running. it is an absolutely ridiculous rule. all i can say is "HELP" as i wanna watch veer-zaara badly!

Yashji... I want to tell you some thing which very much important for me and I loved it lot. The song "KYON HAWA" in VEER-ZAARA is really a very nice song. SONU'S voice is EXCELLENT, LATA MADAM'S voice is MARVELLOUS & Above all YOUR VOICE and thoughts in the starting of the song is OUT OF THIS WORLD.

Although all the sings are good, my two favorites are; Main Yahaan Hoon - Udit Narayan, and Yeh Hum Aa Gaya Hain Kahaan - Lata Mangeshkar and Udit Narayan.
Udit Narayan definitely deserves a Filmfare award in 2004. Main Yahaan Hoon is absolutely fabulous!!!! No one else could have rendered it this well.

The first time I listened to a song from VEER ZAARA was in a friends car, I don't know Hindi, but the melody transported me somewhere back in time somewhere so beautiful, it was amazing. I had him translate few songs for me it was so moving; it captured my heart as it had millions across the world. Wishing u the best for the movie, I'll watch it here, the English subtitles will help for sure, I miss India so much each time I listen to them, I feel closer and closer...
A neighbour came over and asked me what was the sound track I was playing he was so impressed he went to the Indian store next day to get his copy, music truly transcends language race and whatever that separates humanity, he wouldn't believe me when I said Lataji was 75, and now he is a big fan.

Veer-Zaara's music is so soulful that like a kid I have become very possessive about it and I don't want any one else to own it. I feel it's for me only not to be shared with any one else. Sitting in Pakistan coincidently my cousin was going to India for a conference and I told him to bring veer zaara's cd and I was probably one of the first one to get an original cd from India. since then my life has changed and nothing else comforts me more than tere liye, main yahan, do pal and the rest. I love the piano part in tere liye and have become an authority in my circle to talk about it and promote it all the time to every body. I know to buy veer zara music cd's. I terrorize people to buy it and then they have thanked me later very excitedly. yash ji i have always been your fan. I have all your movies in my personal collections but reliving madan mohan's music in this unique manner is going to make this movie and its music an era of history 'amar' forever and ever.
I have truly cherished the music and now I am waiting for veer zara and saamiya... lots of best wishes all the way from Pakistan.
