Three housefull concerts in Mumbai dedicated to Madanji
30 June 2010

To commemorate Madanji's 86th birth anniversary, three different organizers held concerts at different venues in Mumbai – two on 25th June and one on 26th June 2010. The first concert, TERE LIYE, was held at the Yashwantrao Natyagrah in Matunga (Mumbai, India) and had a packed audience. The Madan Mohan family attended this concert. His sons, Sanjeev and Sameer, his daughter Sangeeta, his daughter in law, Anjani, his grandchildren, Akshay, Saipriya and Suhasini, his sister and niece, Shanti and Anju Mahindroo, joined an enthralled audience of music lovers in reliving Madanji's unforgettable melodies.

The second concert, MADAN MOHAN UNPLUGGED, was held on the same evening just 2 or 3 miles away at the Ravindra Natya Mandir in Prabhadevi (Mumbai) – this too had a packed audience.

The third show, also titled MADAN MOHAN UNPLUGGED was held on 26th June 2010 at the Dinanath Mangeshkar Hall in Vile Parle (Mumbai) – once again packed with Madanji's fans.

Indeed the love and respect for Madanji's music, among his fans, remains undiminished, and has only grown over the years.
