A 3 minute Video presentation of "Hai Isi Mein Pyar Ki Aabroo" (ANPADH - 1962) in Madanji's voice, with introduction by Mala Sinha
03 June 2011

ANPADH (1962) is yet another landmark film in Madanji's career. It had the hit song, Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha, which was composed in a few minutes. It also had Jiya Le Gayo Ji Mora Saanwariya, Woh Dekho Jal Ghar Kisika and others.

For the sad situation which formed the theme of the film, Madanji composed the emotional song Hai Isi Mein Pyar Ki Aabroo.

Here, we hear him singing as he initially composes the song. The mukhda and antra are a little different here, as he chose to make changes later when he finally recorded the song in Lataji's voice.

Naushad Saab admired the two ghazals of Anpadh immensely and was vocally expressive of his appreciation.

Anpadh won Madanji his first nomination for Best Music but he lost the award to another film. Mala Sinha worked in many films scored by Madanji and was an admirer of his music. She recounts memories of those days.
