A journey through the timeless music and memories of the legendary composer MADAN MOHAN, presented by his elder son, Sanjeev Kohli
DIL DHOONDTA HAI has been presented live in Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Surat and Bangalore for very appreciative audiences. To mark Madanji’s centenary year in 2024, more live events are being planned through the year with repeats in Surat, Mumbai and Pune as well as in new venues Navsari, Thane, Hyderabad and New Delhi.
The event comprises an exclusive screening of an 80-minute audio visual, A Journey Through His Timeless Music, as well as Sanjeev sharing insights and memories of his legendary father in a Q&A format anchored by Rajeshree Gokhale, presented through videos and rare pictures. Many emotional and interesting anecdotes are shared about Madanji, as well as rare trivia behind the making of some of his most iconic songs.

One of the most impactful and memorable evenings, "Dil Dhoondta Hai". As we sat in the auditorium unaware of what was to come, Sanjeev Kohliji swept us off our feet into a world of timeless classics and nostalgia. I have grown up listening to songs of the retro era but I realized that all my favourite songs were Madan Mohanji's compositions! So, for me, it was an evening that brought me to tears several times.
