On 3 December, Swachhanda Creations hosted DIL DHOONDTA HAI- MADAN MOHAN, A JOURNEY THROUGH HIS TIMELESS MUSIC, in Mumbai at the Swatantryaveer Savarkar Auditorium.

It was sold out four days earlier and Madanji admirers were very appreciative as his son Sanjeev shared his memories of his legendary father. The show was anchored by Rajeshree Gokhale and attended by all members of Madanji’s family. Some admirers had travelled from Surat and Bhopal especially to attend this unique event.

At the end of the event, Sanjeev had this to say:

The feeling of satisfaction when seeing the reaction of the capacity crowd, you realize that your efforts, in paying tribute to a legendary father, have been worthwhile.

An emotional journey, sharing almost 150 of his well loved songs, anecdotes about the making of some of them, many unseen pictures of him and his legendary colleagues and associates, unknown facts about his life and struggle during his 25 year career, rare childhood memories of moments spent with him as well as other greats.. and through all of this, a tribute to the Golden era of Hindi film music.

A sheer joy to see his admirers sharing every moment, through laughter, smiles, and tears as well.

More DIL DHOONDTA HAI events are being planned in Pune and Bangalore in 2023
