After the musical success of SANJOG in 1961, in the following year Madanji had two musical triumphs, one of which was the AVM film, MANMAUJI, created by the same team of BHAI BHAI (AVM, Kishore Kumar, Rajinder Krishan and Madanji), with a young heroine in Sadhana. Kishore Kumar once again played the lead role. MANMAUJI was not as successful as BHAI BHAI, but the variety of songs became very popular and gave Madanji the opportunity to showcase his versatility. Many of the songs are still remembered.
