MADHOSH, a J.B. Wadia film, starred a young Meena Kumari, Usha Kiran and Manhar Desai. The film did not succeed at box office but the songs found much popularity on radio. In fact, the Talat Saab solo, ‘Meri Yaad Mein’ became one of the biggest hits of the year and this film made many take more notice of the young composer. Madanji created a variety of songs including some light songs, and catchy melodies.
