ADA (1951) was a follow-up to Madanji’s first film, AANKHEN in 1950. It had a remarkable score with songs that were much appreciated. It was even more significant because Madanji worked for the first time with Lataji and Talat Mahmood Saab, both of whom did not sing in his first film. In fact, in ADA he also worked for the first time with Ashaji, Kishoreda and Geeta Duttji.
ADA was produced and directed by Devendra Goel (who also made AANKHEN), and starred Shekhar with Rehana.
