MADAN MOHAN FOREVER... a 37-minute film featuring a journey through his memorable music

In July 2000, on the occasion of Madanji's 25th death anniversary, the Madan Mohan family invited some of his colleagues, friends and members of the music fraternity to an informal function.
This small function was attended by luminaries like Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Suraiya, Yash Chopra, Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Pandit Shivkumar Sharma, Khaiyyam, Jagjit and Chitra Singh, Alka Yagnik, Udit Narayan, Talat Aziz, Bhupinder and Mitali Singh, Nina and Rajendra Mehta, Nitin Mukesh, Suresh Wadkar, Alisha Chinai, Jatin-Lalit, Annu Malik, Anupam and Kirron Kher & various others.
At this event, a film made by the family was screened which was much appreciated and in fact moved many to tears of nostalgia.
It features tributes by Lataji, Manna Dey, Ashaji, Begum Akhtar, Pandit Shivkumar Sharma, Ustad Zakir Hussain, Jagjit Singh, Gulzar, R.D. Burman, Khayyam and various others. It also features snippets of songs from WOH KAUN THI (1964), MERA SAAYA (1966), HAQEEQAT (1964), DASTAK (1970), BHAI BHAI (1956), CHIRAG (1969), MAUSAM (1975) and various others which were Madanji's personal favorites.

The episode concludes with farewell remarks by Madanji and rare pictures to the song "Tere Bagair".
