Madan Mohanji’s popular song Lagja Gale from WOH KAUN THI (1964), originally sung by Lataji and written by Raja Mehdi Ali Khan, was recently voted the most popular song on radio. The tune was initially rejected by many, but over the years it has become a favourite. Even youngsters all over the world, love its melody. It is one of the most ‘ liked’ songs on internet, and one of the most rerecorded songs in cover versions, instrumentals, and one of the most performed songs in concerts.
