Events commemorating Madan Mohanji's birth centenary in 2024-2025 are ongoing. His son, Sanjeev Kohli continues presenting an exclusive event DIL DHOONDTA HAI, in selected cities. This is the 10th year of Sanjeev's efforts in presenting a Journey through the timeless music of Madan Mohanji, the presentation features an 80 min audio visual featuring highlights from Madanji's life with snippets of 100 of his most loved songs followed by a 2-hour narration of rare anecdotes, personal memories and interesting insights into the 25-year career of his legendary father. The event is anchored by Rajeshree Gokhale.

The 15th show of DIL DHOONDTA HAI was presented in RAJKOT on 1 FEBRUARY 2025.

This event was organized by Jaydeep Vasoya and Khayal Arts and sponsored by Kiran Buildcon. They did an outstanding job and made it a memorable event for the 800-capacity crowd at the Shri Pramukh Swami Auditorium. The audience responded with a standing ovation.

The programme DIL DHOONDTA HAI on the timeless musical journey of one of the great and legendary music director of Hindi Film Industry late Shri Madan Mohan Kohli on his birth centenary celebration presented by his son Shri Sanjeev Kohli was not only excellent but exceptional also from other programmes. As per legacy of Khayal Arts each and every detail of organizing the programme was beyond doubt excellent e.g. stage decoration, sound etc. The audio visuals of 90 minutes documentary was fabulous having perfect blend of behind the story along with each and every songs. It has also covered almost all the dimensions of entire life of the great music director along with moments and memories. The interactive question - answer session was also so much well organized and interesting that the entire audience forget to watch the time. The entire concept of the programme prepared by Shri Sanjeev Kohli and his team is something different and not only very much informative but interesting also. The entire programme kept the audience so live.

Sanjeev Kohli may have been an only son who from childhood witnessed his father's sadness in his songs which touched the hearts of millions and he could do nothing but feel his pain and tears.

We saw the tribute by Sanjeev Kohli to his father in the program Dil Dhoondhta hai a few days back and we felt his sadness, fortunately the hall was in darkness as no one watching this could stop their tears. Everyone would have experienced sad incidents in their lives, unkind words by someone may hurt you for a long time and as a result at times "sarjantmak" programs happen.This program is Sanjeevji's way of telling his father 'I understand your pain'.

Within 80 mins Sanjeev has covered Madan Mohan's 100 songs / ghazals.. so many beautiful songs at one go! Really Madan Mohan's emotional journey reached our hearts.After that Sanjeevji took us down Madan Mohanji's lifespan.

We salute Madan Mohan. We thank Sanjeevji for this tribute to his father and the people of Rajkot felt they were part of giving a tribute. We thank Jaydeepji for bringing us this emotional journey to his admirers.
